- 2 x 90-minute in-home birth preparation sessions

How do I know which package is right for me?
That's exactly what the free discovery call is for. We will listen to your situation and recommend honestly - including if we think a different option suits you better.
Can I still use NHS care alongside a private midwife?
Yes. Private midwifery can replace or complement your NHS care. Your YPM midwife works alongside NHS teams where needed and advocates for you within the system.
When should I book?
As early as possible. Full Care spaces are limited and the earlier you book, the more care you receive. Birth Only and Elective Section packages have more flexibility - get in touch to check availability.
Are payment plans really available?
Yes, on every package. Talk to us on your discovery call and we will work out a payment schedule that fits your situation.
What if I need to transfer to hospital during a home birth?
Your midwife comes with you. She stays by your side throughout, advocating for you and ensuring your choices are respected wherever your birth takes place.
Is private midwifery regulated?
Yes. All YPM midwives are fully NMC-registered and carry comprehensive professional insurance. The same regulatory standards as any NHS midwife - with considerably more time and continuity.
